Abstract

1) The Conservative Club, Chelsea, thanks the Society "for the interesting lecture given at the club by Mrs. Ormiston Chant." The last two items are most likely announcements for lectures by Emily Massingberd and Caroline Fothergill, respectively. 2) Horsham: "The speech of the evening was made by Dr. Kate Mitchell, who went at some length into the various aspects of the question, arguing from history, and from the state of the nation at the present time." 3) Toledo: Several women read different items at a meeting of the Woman Suffrage Association.
