1) Women's Suffrage Movement: At a meeting, Mrs Brignall read out a letter by Cicely Philipps on Mr. Woodall's women's suffrage bill. Jane Cobden spoke about the two resolutions that were going to be submitted. Miss Conybeare spoke about the women's suffrage question. 2) Women's Suffrage in New Zealand: Mrs. Nightingale read a motion on women's suffrage. Some of the attending women spoke in favour of the motion, some not. Mrs. Evans, M.A., gave a speech in which she considered both sides. The Guild of the Unrepresented: At the annual meeting of the Guild, Miss Cobden and others gave speeches.
