Abstract

1) Women's Suffrage Meeting at Swansea: Mrs. Philipps gave a speech on women's suffrage, the benefits of liberalism, education of women, and the importance of female interest in politics. 2) Women's Suffrage Meeting at Southend: Mrs. Seel spoke in favour of female suffrage. Dr. Kate Mitchell gave a lecture on the "Extension of the Franchise to Women." She spoke about the Conservative and the Liberal Party and their respective stances on women's suffrage, as well as female enfranchisement in general. 3) Falmouth: Eliza Orme addressed the Falmouth Women's Liberal Association on women's suffrage.
