Abstract
Letter arguing that women should be allowed to take off their hats or bonnets when speaking publicily. The author suggests a vested interest in the prevalent custom, stating that "St. Paul knew well what he did when he ordered the women to cover their heads; he knew that the greatest part of their influence as destroyed by doing so."
