Abstract

On the occasion of the Women's Rights Congress in Paris, a number of speeches on the issue of women's social standing in Poland were given: whilst Mme Chaliga Loeve spoke about the absence of a Woman's Property Act in Poland, and women's lack of entitlement to hold property, Mademoiselle Stéphanie Feinking addressed the issue of women's wages, and the difficulties to make a living with these restricted earnings.
