1) The British Association: Report on a meeting of the Association at which "several papers were read by ladies [...] in the Economic Science Section, and on subjects which women have had greater means of studying for many years than the other sciences." Three papers are mentioned by title, two of them are summarised. 2) The Trades' Union Congress: Briefly reproduces remarks made by three women during the Congress. 3) The Southport Ladies' Liberal Association: Miss Ryley reads the report, and Mrs. Ryley reads "an able paper on the 'State Legislation of vice in the Colonies" at the Association's monthly meeting. 4) Miscellanous - Women's Missionary Institute: Announces a three-day conference at which "Miss Lloyd and Miss Cavendish will give accounts each evening, of Missions in Egypt, Syria, and the Holy Land."
