Abstract

"The New Somerville Club, for women, has now been opened. The inaugural reception was given by the ladies of the committee the other afternoon, and was followed by an interesting address in the evening by Mrs. Scharlieb on "Some of the Advantages of Clubs for Women." Mrs. Mary Scharlieb, besides being a 'Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery' of London University, is also a lecturer on Medical Jurisprudence at the London School of Medicine for Women."
