Abstract
1) At a numerously attended private drawing-room meeting, held under the auspices of the Women�s Auxiliary of the Peace Society at the home of Mrs. Dickenson, Mrs. Bowles of California gave "an interesting address." 2) "Mrs. Booth was on the platfotm [sic] at Exeter Hall last week, looking, however, far from strong. The meeting was a farewell to fifty officers, men and women, sent out to India."
