Abstract

Two paraphrased excerpts from addresses by Lady Hayter and Mrs. Brine respectively. Lady Hayter recounts a speech by Mrs. Brine on Home Rule and tenancy issues in Ireland; Mrs. Brine speaks on Irish patriotism and justice through references to John Stuart Mill, John O'Connor, and William Gladstone.
