Abstract

"'She has gone in violently for Women's Rights. She wears the 'divided dress' so detested by many people, and addresses public meetings, receives committees, and writes more letters than a paid secretary - in short, while she expressly declares her object in life is the suppression of man, it is yet clear she copies the attire, habits, and general occupation of the masculine creature as far as society will permit.'"
