Abstract

1) "Miss Ely will hold classes next month at Chelsea, Tottenham Road, Kingsland, and Charing Cross." 2) "Mrs. Stopes, of Upper Norwood, has been invited by the Women's University Settlement [...] on Women's Suffrage." 3) "Miss Susan B. Anthony, the American speaker who is now well-known to so many English friends, is called in her own country 'the Gladstone of the Woman's Movement.'" 4) "Dr. Alice Ker has been lecturing before the Edinburgh Health Society on 'How to Make Children Healthy and Happy.' Her remakrs were of very practical and useful character." 5) "Mlle. Mesnard lectured at Bordeaux, to an audience of more than a thousand persons, on Medical Women." 6)"Dr. Annie Sawyer is the one lady physician in Ottawa. She has been lecturing on 'Practical Physiology in Relation to Dress.'"
