Abstract

Account detailing a meeting on women's rights and women's suffrage held in a schoolroom in Longside, on which occasion two addresses were delivered - one by Lydia Becker on women's suffrage, which was highly applauded and lauded for its structure, content, and delivery, and one by Mrs. Cassidy, the content of which could not be thoroughly pinned down due to its lack of structure and confused, unskilled delivery.
