Abstract

1) "The Annual General Meeting of the Central Committee of the National Society for Women's Suffrage will be held on Tuesday next at the Westminster Town Hall, at 3 o'clock. The Countess of Portsmouth will preside, and among those present will be Miss Becker, Miss Tod, Mrs. Fawcett and Miss Emily Davies." 2) "Miss Florence Stacpoole's articles on 'The Rational and Irrational Treatment of Infants and Children,' which are appearing in a weekly contemporary, are attracting much attention from mothers. Miss Stacpoole is one of the lecturers of the National Health Society." 3) "Miss Amelia B. Edwards will visit America in the coming winter. She is booked for nine lectures in Philadelphia, fifteen in New York and Brooklyn, and others elsewhere." 4) "The Lady Professor at Bologna University is said to have an attendance of over 300 medical students at her lectures. She and two other lady physicians are members of the Italian Congress of Physicians."
