Abstract

"Mrs. Fawcett [...] delivered a very able address upon, 'The Social Progress of Women during the last hundred years.' The chair was taken by Miss Musprat. Mrs. Fawcett gave a deeply interesting sketch of the progress of education amongst women, touching briefly on the reforms and the change in public opinion that had taken place during the last century."
