1) Education: "Miss Wallington read a paper on mixed education at the rooms of the Social Science Association." 2) Medical Education: Includes a valedictory address, given by Dr. Hartshorne at the Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania, to an audience of female graduates. England: "Miss Jex Blake delivered a lecture on the medical education of women in St George's Hall, London," which the article reproduces in paraphrase. 3) Suffrage: Lydia Becker, Millicent Fawcett, and Isabella Tod speak at a public meeting in St. George's Hall, and Sophia Jex Blake and Mrs. Henry Kingsley speak in the Cavendish Rooms, which are added as a venue due to a too numerous audience. Lydia Becker, Mrs. George Sims, Miss Ashworth, Mrs. Ernestine Rose, and Miss Bell speak at a conference at Westminster Palace Hotel. At a public meeting in the Hanover Square Rooms, "Miss Becker, Miss Rhoda Garrett, Mrs Rose, Mrs Fawcett, Mrs Mark Pattison, and Miss Lilias Ashworth [...] made answer to the arguments urged against the Bill on [a preceding] debate." 4) America: Reports on the Annual Meeting of the New England Woman Suffrage Association. Lucy Stone "made a verbal report of the action and progress of the Association." The report is reproduced extensively. "In the evening session, Mrs Stone [...] reported a list of officers of the Association." 5) Miscellaneous: "We understand that among the arrangements already making [sic] by the Sunday Lecture Society in St. George's Hall for next autumn, are lectures by Miss Blackwell, M. D., Mrs Fawcett, and Miss Jex Blake."
