Abstract

At a meeting "for working women only" at Manchester, Mrs. Beddoe and Mrs. Briant both gave addresses on female workers and the labour question. The addressess were "well received and the women themselves appeared to take a very intelligent interest in the subject, asking many questions at the conclusion of the meeting."
