Abstract

"Lady Sandhurst introduced the subject [and] Mrs. Massingberd then opened the discussion with a short paper" on the justification of the Society's object, which is reproduced. Mrs. McIlquhan, Miss Browne, and "[t]wo ladies, who had been canvassers for Lady Sandhurst," are mentioned to have spoken.
