Abstract

Mentions several ladies present on the platform during the annual meeting of the Ladies' Grand Council, and summarises speeches by the Countess of Jersey, "who as a public speaker on Tory platforms is scarcely to be surpassed," Miss Rovan, who reports on Primrose League work in Kerry, and Lady Knightley on county conferences.
