1) Bath: Lady Hayter gives "a bright and spirited speech [on] the subject of organisation." 2) Edinburgh: "[S]ome vigorous speeches were delivered on Ireland and Home Rule" at a meeting of the Eastern Branch of the Woman's Liberal Association. The item quotes a resolution proposed by Mrs. Miller. 3) Waterloo: Harriette Colenso lectures on "The Zulus: England's Duty to Them." 4) Cambridge: At the "annual meeting of the Cambridge Women's Liberal Associations," Miss Goodman "read the annual balance-sheet," and the Hon. Secretary (presumably female) gives "a lengthy speech."
