Abstract

1) Barnsley: Miss Hanson and "Councillors Hatton and Raley" (presumably female) speak at a meeting to establish a Liberal Association at Ryhill. 2) Edinburgh: Mrs. Lang Todd reads the report, and Mrs. Carlaw Martin speaks, at the annual meeting of the Western branch. 3) Hornsey: Several women speak at the annual meeting of the Liberal Association. The article summarises an appeal by Mrs. Pearsall Smith to women to use their influence in politics, and mentions as an "interesting feature [...] the exhibition of a number of photographs taken during the recent discturbances in Tipperary."
