Abstract

"Miss Florence Stackpoole [sic], lecturer to the National Health Society, gave a lecture on 'The Health Aspects of Temperance' [...]. The lecture, which was listened to with deep attention, was given to a large audience, chiefly composed of the women attending the domestic economy classes which have been instituted by Mrs. John Elder."
