Abstract
1) Washington: Several women conduct a religious service on the opening day of "the first triennial meeting of the National Council of Women of the United States," and Florence Balgarnie gives an address "upon the status of women in Great Britain." 2) New York: Amelia B. Edwards makes "her usual statement" at a meeting of the Egypt Exploration Fund committee.
