Abstract

1) Plymouth: Miss Alison Garland delivers a "most graphic and interesting" lecture on Ireland, using a "large number of limelight views." 2) Staffordshire: The secretary "describes the formation and progress of the association," Mrs. Samson gives an address on "Reforms Past and Future," and "Mrs. Holden Byles also addressed the meeting." 3) Norwich: Miss H. C. Colman chairs and "opened with some suggestive remarks upon the educational value of meetings." Miss Peckover speaks on temperance, and Mrs. Leach gives "a most practical and convincing address upon the need for women as members of School Boards, Boards of Guardians, and the like." All three addresses are paraphrased.
