At a meeting of the Central National Society for Women's Suffrage, Laura Ormiston Chant spoke about women's suffrage, the educational force of the Society, and the need for women to combine for their common cause. Maye Ashton Dilke spoke of "the great encouragement given by the large and enthusiastic audiences which now attend meetings on this question" (meaning the question of female enfranchisement). Leonora Wynford Philipps discussed the question "Ought women to be political?" and answered with a clear yes. Mrs. Wyatt Haycroft also spoke.
