Inverness: At a meeting of the Inverness Women's Liberal Association, Mrs. Munro-Ferguson spoke the opening remarks. She said it was essential for women to combine in order to reach their goals, but she also spoke of women in their important roles as companions, mothers, sisters, and wives. Mrs. Lindsay spoke about women and politics. She said it was "the duty of women to interest themselves in the life of the country." Lady Aberdeen spoke about women and the Irish question. She said women might be more successful than men in solving this particular problem.
