Abstract
At the autumnal meeting of the British Women's Temperance Association in Grimsby, Mrs Shaen read a paper on Women as Poor Law Guardians. Mrs. Beers read a paper on the Licensing System. The next day, Mrs. Massingberd presided over the meeting and spoke the opening remarks about the work of the association in Grimsby.
