1) Witney: At a meeting of the Liberal Women of Witney, Mrs. Dann spoke about the importance of women's work in politics. Mrs. Cooper "urged the ladies present not to be down-hearted on account of the late defeat at the Mid-Oxon election." 2) Barnsley: Mrs. Dungey gave an address. 3) Bingley: Mrs. Dungey gave a lecture on women's suffrage. 4) Heanor: Lady Foster opened the meeting of the Heanor Women's Liberal Association. She said that women were much more interested in politics now than they had ever been. Mrs. Ernest O. Fordham addressed the meeting and spoke about women as politicians. 5) Ilkeston: At a public tea meeting, Mrs. Fordham gave an address "on the question of over-crowding in the towns and and the depopulation of the country districts."
