Brighton: At a public meeting of the Brighton Women's Liberal Association, Lady Sandhurst gave the opening address. She spoke about about "what she considered the work of such an Association should be." Then she spoke about Liberalism and Conservatism and expressed her preference for the former. Lady Sandhurst concluded her speech with an appeal to the women of Brighton - they should spread "a true knowledge of Liberal principles." Mrs. Brignall, in her address, spoke about the successes of the Association and urged the gentlemen present to speak about the Association's work in their homes in order to spread and promote its ideas.
