1) France: At an event commemorating "the Revolution of 1848," Madam Rouzade speaks "upon the inferior position of women, and their need of a more liberal education." Her speech is quoted from. 2) Germany: "Miss Lees, who is at present staying at Berlin as a guest of the Crown Princess, has delivered a lecture at a meeting of the Association for the Promotion of Domestic Health, explaining the principles upon which her Institute for the Training of Nurses was managed."
