Mrs. Morgan-Thomas "spoke on behalf of the Central National Society for Women's Suffrage recently, in the Wells Division of Somersetshire." Mrs. Tanner spoke about female enfranchisement at the same meeting. In the evening, Mrs. Morgan-Thomas gave another address at a public meeting in the Town Hall, Slightbridge, on women's suffrage in which she commented on the unfairness of withholding enfranchisment from women. At another meeting, Mrs. Morgan Thomas gave an address on "The duty of women as citizens" and Mrs. Tanner also spoke about the duties of women.
