Abstract

1) Conference of Women Workers: Announces that the papers given at the conference "will appear in separate form [and] a mere mention of the titles of some of them is all space will permit here." Mrs. Fawcett's valedictory address is paraphrased at length. 2) Address on the Education of Women and State Aid, by Mrs. Morgan Williams: Reprints a report on the address from the Cambrian. 3) Notes and Incidents - The Church Congress at Rhyl: "Miss C. M. Mason, Mrs. Herbert and the Hon. Mrs. Joicey gave excellent practical addresses at a women's meeting in connection with the Church Congress." "Miss Amelia B. Edwards lectured [...] on 'The Origin of Portrait Painting,' with special reference to the painting of the early Egyptians." "Miss Jane Harrison gave the first of three lectures [...] on 'The Constant Linking Together in Greek, Art, Literature and Cults, of Ares, the God of War, and Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love.'"
