M. Mason, Mrs. Herbert and the Hon. Mrs. Joicey gave excellent practical addresses at a women's meeting in connection with the Church Congress." "Miss Amelia B. Edwards lectured [...] on 'The Origin of Portrait Painting,' with special reference to the painting of the early Egyptians."
