1) Leamington Women's Liberal Association: Mrs. Stanbury gave a lecture on women's suffrage. She said women had to be convinced of the justice of the cause. 2) Birmingham Society for Women's Suffrage: At a meeting of the Women's Suffrage Society, Mr.s Sheldon Amos spoke in favour of female enfranchisment. She said women should be allowed to vote since they paid taxes and therefore deserved representation. Millicent Fawcett also addressed the meeting in favour of somen's suffrage. She said women should take an interest in politics. 3) North Manchester Women's Liberal Association: Laura Ormiston Chant addressed the North Manchester Women's Liberal Association. She spoke about the reasons why women should have the vote. 4) Bedford Women's Liberal Association: Leonora Wynford Philipps addressed the Bedford Women's Liberal Association. She said women should be political, take part in political life, and help those less fortunate. 5) Nottingham: Miss G.E. Southall addressed a meeting of the Notthingham Women's Liberal Association. She spoke about war and the fact that women might be able to prevent it did they have the parliamentary franchise.
