Abstract
1) Drawing-Room Meeting at Mrs. Haweis's: At a meeting of the Central National Society for Women's Suffrage, Mrs. Haweis gave a number of reasons why women should have the vote, arguing that it is just, it is a protection, and women had had the suffrage before. 2) Miss E. Conybeare spoke about the progress that had been made in the last year concerning the issue of female enfranchisement. She also mentioned Mr. Gladstone's letter.
