1) Irish University Education: At a meeting on women's education, Isabella Tod, Sophie Bryant, Miss Connolly, and Mabel Sharman Crawford speak. Sharman Crawford also presents a memorial on a separate occasion. Her speech is paraphrased. An address by Tod on examinations is summarised, as is a speech by Miss Downing on "conventual establishments." 2) Presentation to Mrs. Byers: During the ceremony held to thank Mrs. Byers for her work in promoting female education, Byers reads a reply to an address presented to her. Her speech is reproduced. 3) At a prize giving ceremony, Miss Buss reads a report, which is paraphrased. 4) Sunday School Centenary: Three women speak at a conference on teacher training. Miss H. N. Morris's paper is described as it includes a practical demonstration.
