Abstract

1) Barnstaple: At an evening meeting, Miss Billson gave an address "on Home Rule and the Temperance question." 2) Bideford and Torrington: At a picnic meeting, Miss Shaw welcomed the guests and Miss Billson gave an address. 3) Bath: Some addresses were given at a meeting. 4) Devizes: Mrs. Hobhouse delivered speeches at three meetings. 5) Edwinstowe: Miss Wright addressed a meeting of the Women's Liberal Association. She mentioned "the enfranchisement of women and temperance legislation." 6) Hillmorton: Mrs. Pilling and Mrs. Morgan Brown addressed a meeting of the Rugby Women's Liberal Association. 7) Ilkeston: Lady Foster and Miss Agnes E. Slack are addressing a number of public meetings on behalf of the candidature of Sir Walter Foster. 8) Liverpool: Lady Henry Somerset gave two addresses at meetings of women in favour of the Temperance and Liberal candidate Alex MacDougall. 9) Mile End: At a meeting of the Women's Liberal Association, Mrs. Louisa Samson gave an address on the Poor Law Reform, the abolition of the Indian opium trade, and one person one vote. 10) Newtown: At a social tea meeting, Mrs. Humphreys Owen gave an address. 11) Normanton: Mrs. Bamford H. Slack gave an address in support of Mr. Strachan's candidature. 12) North Hants: Miss Edith Clinton read a paper on the work accomplished at the May meetings of the Women's Liberal Federation. 13) Ripley: At a social evening meeting, Lady Foster gave an address on the general election. 14) Wirral (Cheshire): Mrs. E. Stewart-Brown gave an address at a ladies' meeting.
