Abstract

1) "The ladies are to the front": At the women's afternoon meeting of the Church Congress, Deaconess Gilman, Miss Octavia Hill, Mrs. Hicks, and Miss Clementina Black will speak on the "Training of Women and the Industrial Conditions of Women." The Duchess of Bedford and Lady Frederick Cavendish will give addresses on "Temperance as it affects Women of the Upper and Middle Classes." 2) "[A]ble speeches from the representatives of the Welsh Women's Liberal Associations" are mentioned.
