Abstract

1) Aberystwyth: At the monthly meeting in the Liberal Club, Mrs Hayes read a paper on "Liberalism during the present reign." 2) Bury: At a meeting of the Women's Liberal Association, the delegate's report of the council meeting of the Women's Liberal Federation in May was read. Mrs. Noble and Miss Wolstenholme were thanked for their papers. 3) Chelmsford: At a meeting of the Women's Liberal Association, Miss Conybeare addressed the audience. She urged the women present to join associations such as the WLA to address the big social and political questions of the day. 4) North Meols: At a garden party of the local Women's Liberal Association, Mrs. Rimmer announced that a grand bazaar would soon be held at Hawarden Castle.
