1) Maldon and Haybridge: At a meeting of this newly formed branch of the Women's Liberal Association, Miss Conybeare gave an address. She said it should be possible for women to become factory inspectors and poor law guardians and they should be allowed to be on juries and on school boards. Miss Conybeare "also touched upon the question of local option and the peasant proprietorship of land." 2) North Norfolk: At a meeting held in Overstrand, Mrs. Charles Mallet delivered an address on women's suffrage.
