Abstract

"One of the most unique personalities at the Women's Congress will be Miss Jessie Ackerman, of Sidney, Australia [...] her excellent abilities as a speaker have borne her along, the people have rallied to her side, and she may justly be called the mother of the Australian Woman's Christian Temperance Union, of which she is now president."
