Abstract
1) Dr. Kate Bushnell and Mrs. Elizabeth Andrew gave "stirring addresses" at a meeting ending a conference of the British Women's Temperance Association at Holborn Town Hall. The meeting was presided over by Lady Henry Somerset. 2) Miss William Whiting spoke about a marble bust of Miss Frances Willard, commissioned for the Chicago Exhibition, which was sculpted by Miss Anne Whitney, assessing its merits in representing the sitter's personality.
