1) Aberystwith [sic]: Papers on "Temperance" and "Woman's Work and Wages" were read by Miss Getta Jones and Mrs. Thomas at a Liberal Women's meeting presided over by Mrs. W. Williams. 2) Camborne: Miss B. Vivian read a paper on "The History of Ireland previous to the Union" at a monthly meeting of the W.L.A. It was the supplement of a paper on "Ireland under the Government of Coercion" given last month. 3) Christchurch and Bournemouth: A letter of resignation from the post of president of the local association by Mrs. Maberley was read at a meeting of the executive of the Association. 4) Waterloo: At a public meeting of the Waterloo branch, Mrs. Rawlins gave an address on "The Reform Bills of 1893," comparing the present-day reforms with those of 1832.
