1) Christian Women's Reform: At the Reform Association's conference, various women give papers on medical training for women, social and moral questions including temperance, and religion and missionary work. 2) Trades' Union Congress: Miss Wilkinson participates in the discussion on factory and workshop inspection. Three other women are named as supporters of various resolutions. At an evening meeting presided over by Wilkinson, her and three further women speak. Wilkinson's address is paraphrased. 3) Women in Politics: At a conference in Glasgow, "Mrs. McLaren, Miss Wigham and Mrs. Scatcherd, among others addressed the meeting, and several other ladies joined in the discussion." 4) Married Women's Property Act: Several women, including Alice Scatcherd and Caroline Biggs, address a public meeting. Mrs. Cowen's opening speech is briefly paraphrased. 5) Lectures by Ladies at the British Museum: Announces courses of lectures on Assyrian Antiquities and Greek Art, by Miss Margaret E. Harkness and Miss J. E. Harrison, respectively. 6) Miscellaneous - Church Congress: "Miss Ellice Hopkins addressed two meetings, one of clergy-men, the other of women only, on the Degradation of Women." Congress of Working Women: Several women discuss "the grievances of which women employed in various trades complain" at the congress.
