Abstract

"Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Forham entertained three hundred of the members of the Royston and Village Women's Liberal Associations in their gardens at Odsey House, Chambs. [...] During the evening, Mr. H. E. Hoare, M.P., spoke to the gathering, and was followed by Mrs. E. O. Fordham, President of the Women's Liberal Associations, Mrs. Naylor (Royston), and Mr. E. O. Fordham. Well-known Liberals from the surrounding villages came from far and near to attend the garden party."
