Abstract
At a reception in honour of Lady Henry Somerset, Emily Massingberd and several other women speak to welcome Lady Somerset, and on temperance work. The statements, as well as Lady Somerset's reply, are reproduced in paraphrase. The article also announces two occasions on which women are to preach a sermon in Chicago and Cardiff.
