Abstract

At an important meeting, held by invitation of Lady Henry Somerset at the Portman Rooms, "to consider a special way of dealing with inebriate women[,] [...] Dr. Sarah J. Anderson Brown read a paper explanatory of her scheme for the treatment of such cases in industrial farm houses." The paper was followed by a resolution put forward by Mrs. Boden, and seconded by Emma Cons.
