1) Mrs. Wynford Phillips is asked to promote the circulation of 'The Woman's Signal' in an address at Haverfordwest. 2) At a number of conventions of the London Mission at St. James's Hall, addresses were given by the Sisters of the Mission. 3) "Mrs. Annie Hicks opened a debate on 'Our share in the Sweating System,' at the Pioneer Club. Mrs. Gordon was in the chair. [...]" 4) Mrs. Holden Byles proposed a resulution at a 'crowded and enthusistic' meeting of the Walsall Women's Liberal Association at the Liberal Club. 5) Mrs. Elizabeth Andrews and Dr. Kate Bushnell spoke at a Methodist Conference in India. 6) The death of Mdlle. Maria Deraismes, a resident of Paris and fromt-row campaigner for women's enfranchisement, is reported. It is mentioned that, although reluctant at first, over time she became an ardent orator for the Freemasons and women.
