Abstract

1) Durham: Miss Agnes Slack "gave several addresses which were most interesting and instructive." 2) Yorkshire: Mrs. Emmett gives " a stirring and practical address," and two further women speak. 3) Metropolitan: Ellen Chapman gives "a most instructive and interesting lecture, on 'Ireland and the Irish.'" The lecture is "profusely illustrated with photographic lantern slides." Mrs. Bailhache speaks on "Temperance and Social Purity," Mrs. Aukland gives an address, and Mrs. McDougal speaks on "Food Reform."
