Abstract
Several regional braches of the National British Women's Temperance Association held meetings, at which a number of addresses, speeches and lectures were given by women, among them Mrs. Aukland, Mrs. Ormiston Chant, Mrs. Pearson, Miss Conybeare, Mrs. Pearsall-Smith, Mrs. Sheldon Amos, and Mrs. E.O. Fordham. Subjects included politics and Temperance, as well as the workings of the Association.
