1) 39 lectures, which are organized through the Women Lecturers' Association, are announced to be held in London on a variety of topics, ranging from art, science to religion and health. 2) Miss Zitella E. Tomkins delivered a lecture at the Literary Institute, Egham, on "Women in Relation to Art." 3) "Miss Honnor Morten was the lecturer at the South Place Institute this week." In her lecture she talked about nursing as a woman's profession. 4) Several addresses were given by women at the annual conference of the Scottish division of the Y.W.C.A. 5) A number of speeches were given at the annual soirée of the Alnwick and District Women's Liberal Association, amongst them one by Mrs. Charles Mallet. 6) "Mrs. Sidney Webb recently gave an interesting address on the sweating system, at St. Anne's Schools, Soho, this being one of a course of lectures on the duties of citizens which Mr. Cardwell, the rector of St. Anne's, has organized [...]."
