Abstract

1) Mentions women, who campaign to be elected in the Walsall municipoal elections, addressing an audience and detailing their motifs for running. 2) "Miss McKinnon recently addressed a meeting at Herne Bay in connection with and relating to the work which was being carried on by the British Women's Temperance Association. [...]" 3) Princess Christian is announced to open a bazaar at the Grafton Galleries on behalf of the Royal British Nurses' Association. 4) Miss A. Garland gave a lecture on the House of Lords at the Annual Meeting of the Newcastle-on-Tyne W.L.A. 5) Miss Bethune and Miss Collins spoke at a farewell gathering before leaving the Princess Street YWCA for Calcutta, where they will be helping in the missionary work.
